The way I see it, whether we laugh or cry, the rain falls anyway. Bad things happen, things beyond our control. Hearts are hurt, and life rushes on. It's really our choice, though. We can't stop those things from happening, but we can choose how we live through them- sitting alone and mourning our hurt, or reaching out to others who need encouragement. We can bury our heads and remain on this bleak sphere, or we can climb like a little child onto our great Father's lap, and watch from His perspective. The rain will fall anyway, but you can choose - life or death, blessing or cursing. It's up to you, but remember, as the rain is falling, a lost and dying world is looking on. Make your choice carefully.

My youth pastor used to say that we had the choice to become bitter or become better. Now I know it's a matter of clinging to grace or clenching a fist. Keep making the right choice!
ReplyDeleteThat's exactly how I feel. It's all about learning how to say "yes" to the grace all around us!
