Happy Birthday Thomas!!! <3

Dearest Thomas, I know you can't hear or read this.....and I know that over in Russia there are no birthday candles or presents for you today. Daddy won't be there to say a special birthday blessing for you, and no one will be there to say "I love you"- but I do! Thomas, you are one of the sweetest boys I've ever met, and the first day I met you, I knew you'd completely stolen my heart. Those four days of piggyback rides, hugs, swimming, uno, and trying to communicate will always remain some of my fondest memories. Thomas, I can't be there right now, but I can promise that I am in spirit. I can't see your sweet face, but I can tell you that your picture is indelibly marked on my heart, always before my eyes. I can't get on a plane and come get you, but I am praying and working to bring you home. And I can and will spend every waking moment, and even some of my dreams, praying you home before your next birthday. I love you! <3
