This week has been yet another crazy week in the Granquist household....and yet nothing really out of the ordinary happened.... I thought you might enjoy my little brother Michael's bedtime prayer (I've taken the liberty of translating it into normal English- google translate doesn't work on Michaelese)
"Dear God, thank for the day. Please help Thomas (always Thomas, never Tom- Michael gets mad when I refer to Thomas as "Tom" ) and Juliana come home soon. And keep them safe when they're in Russia." Me: " are you ready to say amen?" Michael: "No! And please help Thomas and Juliana to eat at McDonalds in Russia. Amen."
.....as I sit there trying not to laugh :D
As a side note, I heard this song this week, and it pretty well sums up what our family has been working on lately...learning to give, even when it hurts, and nothing is given back. : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z0N6DMUJK5o
