This is a super quick post but and awesome answer to prayer. When we returned to the Sates from Russia, we immediately started looking for homestudy agencies. We contacted 2- 1 that seemed very sweet and willing to help in any way possible, and 1 that seemed annoyed that we even called. However, the agency we really liked was on the Russian blacklist....meaning that they couldn't handle the paperwork because Russia would reject it. So we considered that a closed door and proceeded (very slowly, due to several providential circumstances) with the agency that we didn't like. Today, before any paperwork was submitted to or even sent from the agency, we were informed that the blacklist containing our favorite agency was outdated, and that we can in fact use their services!!!! I know it doesn't seem like a big deal, but believe me, if you're going through a homestudy, it is really, really nice to work with people who enjoy their work! Praise God! Prayerfully we'll be starting on paperwork this week!

ReplyDeleteThanks for understanding the excitement :) We're a bit overwhelmed with the stacks and stacks of paperwork that we already have to do ( and that's only the beginning....), so please pray for us as we try to get it all finished and sent out in tomorrow's mail.
