Russian adoption

Wow! 36 hours ago everything was business as usual around here....and then I might have slipped in a "So Mom, there's this little girl in Russia I've been praying for...would you read the article?" (http://impassionedpurity.blogspot.com/2011/07/not-unwanted.html )Anyway, she read it, and decided to e-mail about that girl...and pretty soon found herself on the phone with an adoption worker who invited her to host a little boy, Artem, for a week-long trip to Moscow in August. Oh, and the adoption worker offered to pay for Mom's trip. So after a looooonnnnggg night/morning of decision, it has been declared that she will go, with the goal of potentially adopting Artem. It was also decided that I could go to accompany her, (she doesn't like to travel alone, and I love to travel, plus I think I might explode if I don't get to go and meet little Artem!), if I can raise the money ($2,500) in time. So here's where you come in. I'm not asking you to give me your life savings, or anything really except prayer. If you feel led to donate something to this cause, great! If not, the most valuable resource you could give is prayer. Prayer for the fundraising effort, prayer for Artem, prayer for travelling safety, prayer for the preparations, prayers for patience....Anyway, I just wanted you all to be aware of what is going on, and to tell you my super-exciting new before I exploded :)
