new favorite quote

I've been reading a book by John Porter called "The Baptist Debt to the World", basically explaining what Baptist beliefs are, why they are so important, and our responisibility to stand firm on them. I'm finding it to be an excellent and convicting book! Although you don't have to be a Baptist to be a Christian, the Baptists definitely have their doctrines straight, and I'm proud to be one! If you haven't already, I would encourage you to really search the Bible, and learn what you believe, and why! It is so important to "buy the truth and sell it not", to know WHY you are what you are.
