Shakespearean wisdom

I am part of a homeschoolers Shakespearean drama group. Our director happens to be a pastor with a lot of interesting things to say. We are currently studying "The Tempest" , in which the father (Prospero) , and daughter (Miranda) , live on an island basically alone, and it tells of how Prospero has prepared his daughter for a marriage to the Prince (Ferdinand). Well, I'd never thought of this before , but our director brought out the parrallell of how Christian fathers prepare their daughters for marriage before they even know who "Prince Charming" will be , and how God is preparing us to be the bride of Christ, even though we've never seen Him face to face. Anyway, I just thought that was pretty neat.
